  4.     He may be billed as the "superstar of tomorrow," but Texas
  5. singer CLINT BLACK, 27, is already hotter than three-alarm chili.
  6. His debut single A Better Man topped the charts; his country-pop
  7. album Killin' Time went No. 1; and last week the Country Music
  8. Association dubbed him most promising newcomer. The affable Black,
  9. whose cowboy appeal has women flocking to his concerts, seems
  10. amazed. "Me, a superstar?" he asks. The former steelworker from
  11. Houston says he spent "countless nights playing in honky-tonk
  12. dives." But, he recalls, "they listened to the music."
